Our digital laser safety goggles were developed by us according to DIN EN 207:2017-05 and tested by DIN CERTCO Gesellschaft für Konformitätsbewertung mbH. The type examination certificate has the registration number C6843LINF/R1. Accordingly, the digital laser safety goggles bear the following marking, which indicates the protection range:

400-1400 DI LB7 + R LB6Y + M LB7Y LINF S CE
>1400-3000 DI LB4 LINF S CE

In words, this means that the following protection ranges have been successfully tested:

• 400-1400nm continuous wave laser: Achieved protection level LB7.
• 400-1400nm pulsed laser: Achieved protection level LB7
• 400-1400nm giant pulse laser: Achieved protection level LB6Y
• 400-1400nm mode-locked laser: Achieved protection level LB7Y
>1400-3000nm continuous wave laser: Achieved protection level LB4
• >1400-3000nm pulsed laser: Achieved protection level LB4

LINF is the manufacturer’s abbreviation of L-infinity GmbH. S stands for the fulfillment of special stability according to DIN EN 207:2017-05..

The digital laser safety goggles may only be used for the above-mentioned wavelength ranges and operating modes, as these were tested by laser bombardment tests within the scope of the type examination. Due to the mode of operation, however, the protection is not fundamentally limited to the protective areas listed above; rather, protective action can be expected in further wavelength ranges and operating modes. If required, you can contact us if you would like to use the digital laser safety goggles in protective areas which have not yet been tested, in order to arrange follow-up tests.

Examples of lasers which are within the above areas of protection:

Continuous wave fiber laser (Operating mode D), 1070nm, 86W optical power, 1.0mm beam diameter
Giant pulse Nd:YVO4-Laser (Operating mode R), 1064nm, 1.75W average optical power, 1.0mm beam diameter, 30ns pulse duration, 5kHz repetition rate
Mode-locked Nd:YVO4-Laser (Operating mode M), 1064nm, 5.9W average optical power, 12ps pulse duration, 50kHz repetition frequency
Continuous wave Er:YAG-Laser (Operating mode D), 2940nm, 8.1W average optical power, 1.0mm beam diameter
Pulsed Er:YAG-Laser (Operating mode I), 2940nm, 4.3W average optical power, 1.0mm beam diameter, 10 Hz repetition frequency, 350us pulse duration

Other specifications:
• Nominal interpupillary distance: 65 mm
• Focal length of the lenses: 39 mm
• Total weight: approx. 450 g
• Screen: 3040×1440 pixels, 550 ppi, 60 Hz
• Field-of-view of the camera: 77
• Light transmission factor = 0%

Our digital laser safety glasses have optional connectivity to wireless networks, etc., which can be used during operation.

Important: The digital laser safety goggles may only be used as patient goggles in a resting/lying application by hand-guided laser systems.

With the addition of certain safety measures that meet the relevant applicable standards, use in individual cases is also conceivable in other scenarios.
