Tattoo removal is often performed with the help of modern laser technology. In this process, strong laser beams are directed onto the skin. This laser radiation destroys the color pigments of the tattoo.

To protect the eyes from the laser radiation, the patient must wear protective goggles according to DIN EN 207. Through some conventional safety goggles the surroundings can be viewed, but through other conventional safety goggles nothing at all can be seen (as shown here).

The sessions take a different amount of time depending on the size of the tattoo and can also be very painful. This negatively affects the comfort of the patient and therefore patient satisfaction.

The archaic solution: Patients are given a foam ball to squeeze during treatment when the pain becomes severe….

Our solution: Our digital laser safety goggles offer powerful distraction options to bridge the treatment time and thus make the treatment more comfortable. At the same time, it is also independent of the wavelength, making treatment safer by preventing accidental confusion of the correct glasses.
